Contributions from Connecticut to presidential candidates

This database contains individual contributions from Connecticut to presidential candidate committees, one of several ways people can support candidates financially. Contributions to these committees of $200 or more must be reported to the Federal Election Commission individually, but the committees often report smaller contributions individually as well.

This database allows you not only to search the contributions, but group them by candidate name and other columns, to see total contributions from that group. When you group them, by clicking the collapse icon next to the word "candidate" for example.

This database contains contributions through Oct. 19, released by the FEC in the pre-general report Oct. 27, the last such report before the Nov. 8 election.
